(1) For the prevention and treatment of hypophosphatemia. It is also used as a phosphorus additive in total venous hypertrophic therapy to prevent hypophosphatemia. (2) As an adjunct to urinary tract infection, this drug can acidify urine, thus enhancing the antibacterial activity of Ulotropine amygdalic acid and Ulotropine horseuric acid, and can eliminate the odor and turbidity of urine containing ammonia in urinary tract infection. (3) Prevention of calcium-containing kidney stones. This medicine can acidify urine, increase calcium solubility and prevent calcium deposition in urine, so as to prevent the recurrence of calcium-containing kidney stones. (4) Treatment of hypercalcemia. In recent years, this drug has not been commonly used in the treatment of hypercalcemia, and other safer and more effective methods have been used.
